“I always enjoy my stay here, this time we stayed because of Weird Al having a concert at the Charleston Civic Center. The Courtyard Marriott was right across the street.”

“Be ready to pay for parking and not have your car on the property. Highly inconvenient if you need something out of your car. Rooms are not clean. It smelled like built up urine in the bathroom. Very unpleasant. Too much money for what it is. This is like a 150 a night type hotel.”

She was taking a reservation on the phone and didn't bother to say I'll be right with you and when she got off the phone didn't apologize for my wait. “We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.”
