Hotel a Stantonsburg

“The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good.”

“The staff was nice to help us with our problems. However, our room had 1 working lightbulb in the bathroom, flat pillows, and about an inch of light underneath the door that was supposed to be suctioned shut. Pictures showed a pool, but there was a sort of outdoor gym on concrete where I assume the pool used to be. When we asked about the lightbulbs, we went to 3 different rooms to grab lightbulbs and towels to stuff underneath the door. The floors were sticky and the bedsheets had stains on...

“I checked in on 5/23. The trainee was very nice and welcoming. She was working through the check-in process smoothly with a question or two for the manager. The manager was short with her and unwelcoming to the guests — obviously hospitality is not her strength. This was the first Holiday Inn Express I felt so uncomfortable checking-in.”

“The rooms were huge and clean! The pool and outdoor area were awesome. The staff were very friendily and helpful. Only things I would change would be to get a second toaster and pancakes or waffles for breakfast, but that is just being nit picky. Would def stay here again!”

“The door to our room was not secure. There was a gap at the bottom and top of the door where light from the hallway was coming in. The security latch was completely broken. But it was late when we arrived and we did not have the energy to go back to the front desk to get moved. I was with my husband so I felt safe. “This hotel is not kept up. It looks old. The beds in room looked small (smaller than full size). And breakfast was NOT included. The advertise breakfast available or served but you have to pay for coffee and food. Many hotels of this caliber offer breakfast. Would not recommend nor stay there again. ”
