The apartment was on the first floor (2nd floor for those in the States). There was a lift but the stairs were very easy to navigate. Convenient access to the Termini train station. ”

“The apartment is perfect for people attending the Lucca Italian School, as I did. Its location, inside the walls but at the eastern edge, is so much quieter than being in the core. It’s an easy walk to the Anfiteatro and Strada Fillungo. Piazza San Francesco is close by with a small grocery store, a gelateria/bar, and several restaurants and pizzerias. “The pictures show the beauty of the apartment. Amenities as mentioned. It is 3 floors of steps. It is on opposite side of the walled town from train station. Check in very organized with a booklet listing where to eat, drink, and shop. Meile appliances. Be sure to go over washer and dryer directions at checkin if unfamiliar with these appliances. No books, cards, or games in apartment. But, who stays inside when you are in a beautiful Italian town! A great stay”
