“Good hotel, very reasonably priced, close to the university of Manitoba and Superstore. To improve: blinds are definitely not blackout, which is challenging in spring when the sun is up early, and when your window faces the parking lot with extremely bright floodlights. Unfortunately it was raining two nights and there was a dripping sound outside the window that was so loud it sounded like someone was popping microwave popcorn in the next room. “Wonderful honeymoon”

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Stay549. It feels like home! Val was super nice and friendly when she checked us in. Everybody there was very helpful. When the coffee machine broke, they quickly replaced with a brand new one. Thank you…my husband and I need our coffee to start the day 😁 We will definitely come back when we are heading back West.”

“The room was comfortable, but we would never return and would warn others that this hotel is obviously in a high crime area. We stayed on May 30th, 2026 and woke up to our back window smashed out. Our vehicle was in the hotel parking lot. My husband went to front desk to enquire about calling police and possibly getting the window secured somehow. They assisted in putting plastic and tape on window that fell off after 20 minutes and we had a 7.5 hour drive to reach home. When husband went back...

“I particularly liked that the rooms were clean, renovated and well organized. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue I found was a shortage one morning of hot water but it appeared to be resolved on the morning we left. All in all it was good. Thanks Again!”

“Lots of noice , we were in a room main floor next to a restaurant , very loud and kids running around all evening didnt seem to be watched much by parents. The room was beautiful except it looked out at a restaurant and you could hear the noice.”
