“Tutto perfetto fino a che non sono arrivato a pagare la camera; il parcheggio, che la sera precedente mi era stato offerto "free" mi è stato addebitato 10 franchi sul conto finale; non sono abituato a fare polemiche e pertanto ho pagato senza "batter ciglio". La colazione era discreta e la camera confortevole ma caldissima e senza la possibilità di variare la temperatura. Ho passato tutta la notte sudando.”

“No refrigerator!!! No air conditioner!!! A 4 Star hotel more than $500/night!!!! The Spa only works until 8 PM. I booked this hotel for the Spa because after hiking I wanted to go swimming and get a Spa treatment, but they close at 8 PM!!!! Also, I noticed from my balcony that they close it at 7:45 PM! “Overall is a nice hotel in an historic building; the surrounding area is really beautiful with a covered bridge almost in front. The services provided are limited, some of the furniture outdate (some is actually vintage and it’s nice). Breakfast buffet is good but a bit limited”

“We spent 3 nights here and absolutely loved our balcony room with a view of the lake. Couldn't stop taking pics from it. Grounds are excellent and well maintained. Breakfast was good, but the same each day. Two things we'd suggest though, pillows were feathered and had no substance (had to ask for additional) and no lotion in the bathroom. These are minor things compared to how much we loved the setting. Would highly recommend.”

“I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there. It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue. I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap”...
