(I'm fussy) The beach was beautiful, the kids loved doing the steps to get their steps in. I used the lift on the way back up.”

You won’t need a thing while staying here. The house is very clean And decorated tastefully to make you feel at home. “This place is amazing. We were a bit worried about no AC, but after the first warm night the temps dropped and we were fine. We absolutely loved the screened in porch, which is where we spent most of our time after a day of sightseeing. ”

“Island Fox was a nice home to stay on the island and had everything we needed and was conveniently located. The screened in porch was comfortable to sit and read without the bugs. We even saw a bear! The check in process ended up being very easy however I didn’t get communication on it in advance and no response when I messaged and called on our drive up. All in all a great stay. Thank you for sharing your home.”

“We stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of August. It was extremely quiet and felt remote, which was exactly what we wanted. It is removed from the busier more tourist-oriented area of the island, which is about 15 minutes away. There is great lake access across the street, and we couldn’t believe how few people there were around the area. The cons: bed is a bit creaky, the only places to sit are on some pretty uncomfortable wicker furniture, and there were a few large black ants in the...

“We have stayed here in August for several years. It's a great spot! It's quiet and you can enjoy nice views of the golf course, but also very convenient to the town, marina, Joni's Beach etc. It was a little too warm and humid this time, but the AC in the living room and ceiling fans made it comfortable for sleeping. We'll be back!”
