“We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch.”

“The view is incredible!! Right on the lake!! The house was great. 4 adults and our dogs fit great. We all had our own space a privacy. House was clean Andy is a great host. Would stay here again.”

“We were a group of eight ladies all family . We had a great time. Several ladies enjoyed using the hot tub. The youngest enjoyed the tree house. Located in a quiet location where we could have some privacy was great too. We prepared most of our own meals and the kitchen was spacious enough for all of us to move around each other. The open concept allowed us all to visit together comfortably.”

“Very cozy, clean and stylish home for our 3-day ski trip. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a great big table. Perfectly roomy for 2 families and we loved we could bring our pups. It’s a short walk to the Bear Back trail on Bear Peak and you’re right at the lift.”

The tucked away location yet close enough to stores allowed for true disconnect from every day life. Your stress diminishes completely once you settle in. “Great cabin, beautiful sunsets, & very peaceful. Those are three of the biggest stand outs. Lovell is a lovely town with super friendly residents..even had the opportunity to meet Stephen King! Debra is fantastic, from the small touches in the cabin, such as s’mores, to her communication to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our week. Even recommended Lovell Center Market for some delicious pizza. Cabin was spotless & the furniture was comfy, had a great nap in the recliner 😁 Overall...

It is on a busy main Rd with lots of large tanker, 18 wheel trucks during the day, but at night it isn't too noisy. All the bedrooms are in the back so it helps with the road noise. “It was a wonderful relaxing much needed time spent with my adult children. Away from all the hustle and bustle of work and it was great to be off the grid, no phones (although service was excellent) no tv (which was provided) just quality time with my grown children. “We had a wonderful weekend in the snow storm! The house was cozy and warm and set back in the woods along the River but only a short drive to the ski mountains. It was a great time with my adult children. It’s hard to find a place that doesn’t charge a lot of money to bring your family pets so I really appreciated this place. So be good to the owners and respect their wishes with no dogs upstairs. Easy enough to block it off. Nice walk along river with the dogs. Or your family to just hang out...

“It was lovely to see so many stars and listen to the stream. We also enjoyed the fire in the wood stove (although we had to stoke it every couple hours). The bed was very comfortable. The walk up in the snow was more strenuous than we expected. Next time we'll pack as if for a hiking trip. We'll also stay for more than one night so we can explore the hiking trails.”
