Hotel a Stonington

“Spent one night there with 4 kids, got the suite and the room was very nice, lots of room and very clean. The pool was nice and the kids appreciated the 8 foot deep end for jumping in. Every staff member i spoke with was very friendly. They have a nice bar and restaurant and 24 hour coffee. Only thing i would have liked to have was a hot tub but not the end of the world. They have a nice continental breakfast , nothing warm but plenty of cold options and cold yogurt and eggs. I would...

“Tried to stay local to save money and travel time, but none of that happened here. The pool and spa was closed even though they offered it online and on the sign directly outside the building. Our toilet didnt work in our first room. So we were offerd the key to the room next door to use the bathroom. Just to find saw dust and hair in that bathroom. We have stayed here in the past and had great experience. But not this time. Things sure have changed at the super 8 for the worse within 1 year. ”

“Our stay was nice with the exception of it being extremely loud with doors slamming. We stay in a suite at the end of the hall. The outside door slammed very loud when anyone entered of exited that door…..happening even after midnight. It was loud enough to startle you out of a sound sleep. ”

“Front desk was open very late, thankfully. I needed to work out of state and didnt get done with the job until 7 p.m., it was also 2.5 hours away. Deposit was returned to my card promptly, which shouldn't be a talking point but I've been scammed out of it before. Didn't eat breakfast so I have no opinion on that. Shower was nice, the infrared in the bathroom worked, and the mirror was modern. Overall great stay.”
