Hotel a Sulligent

“Was unable to checkout early. Hotel said I needed to contact Expedia to do that. Expedia bounced me back to the hotel. Was charged for a night I didn't stay.”

“The hotel pool was closed.. with no warning when we booked or discount since it was. The breakfast was slim and once gone they did not restock even within the time for breakfast that they have posted. The laundry is also down with no warning about that. The elevator door was stuck open on main elevator so stairs were the only option. If this had been posted when I booked or discounted because of all the inconveniences, maybe. But we never would have booked there if we knew it was like this.”

“Every time I left my room in the hallway it was a musty smell like the AC was not cool enough, also when I went into my room the AC was not on at all.”

“No coffee maker in the room. Air conditioner not run in the room for a while. Room smelled stale. Loud music from the bar. Morning staff rude though check-in person was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast vey late being set out and no protein. Not the best for an early riser. It’s adequate. Overall impression is chintzy. Repair stuff in guest areas. Feels like it’s in a safe area of town.”

“This property is very, very tired. Franchise owner needs to do his PIP (property improvement plan) or Hyatt needs to remove this property. Web site pictures are from the property's grand opening - it doesn't look like this now. There are hints of how nice it once was, but those days are long gone with the least amount of money going to keep this property up and running. Water stains all over the lobby ceilings, worn carpet and furnishings and a parking lot from hell with cracks and...

“The rooms were clean, somewhat dated. Great breakfast. No one cleaned the room during the 2 night stay”

“Great room. Only problem was the desk clerk kept speaking much faster than I could hear. I asked him to slow down a couple times but he just kept speaking like a heavily accented auctioneer. I still don't understand how he came up with that price.”

“The rooms are clean and the breakfast bar has been good. I have stayed here about four times over the past two years and the breakfast buffet is always good.”

“The room was relatively clean except for a half full water bottle sitting on the window ledge. There was a very noticeable spot on the bedskirt.. looked like something spilled. The check-in staff was efficient but not overly friendly such a change from Starkville…everyone is so friendly. The check-out employee was wonderful. Overall a good place to stay. I prefer staying in Starkville over Columbus.”

“Not Fancy but affordable. If you’re passing through and need a place to stay then this place will do. No bugs or issues but very old Lennon and amenities!”

Years and years of loving curation provide pure eye candy for visitors while lending a true element of grandmacore nostalgia, exhibiting decades of a life well lived in every available space!! The host, Burnette, is a lovely lady and greets you with the warmth of a grandmother, happy to welcome you in with a cup of hot tea! Breakfast was a scrumptious homemade quiche and cherries jubilee! We look forward to returning!! ”
