“The drive to Hyatt Tamaya Resort is absolutely beautiful and sets the tone for the entire stay. The scenery is peaceful and relaxing, and along the way you pass a gorgeous golf course and horses, which makes the whole experience feel unique and almost secluded from the city in the best possible way.
The resort itself is massive, stunning, and incredibly well maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere feel even more relaxing.

“In our room the bathroom outlet did not work and that was the only mirror so it was hard to do my hair. The lights worked when you wiggled the switch. The floor’s wooden tiles were messed up, the ice machine wasn’t working and the front desk agent that checked us in did not allow me to change my form of payment. I would not stay here again.”

“Me and my family of 9 booked 2 hotel rooms. When arriving 5 hours later at checking in they told us we were not in the system. They had mentioned since we did not pay at the property directly they had given our rooms to their “members”. I was very disappointed and discouraged after this as this was suppose to be a fun and exciting experience for our daughter whom we were celebrating. So be aware.”

“On the surface cleanish, sheets and towels stained, vinyl floor doesn’t appear to get swept or washed regularly as my socks were black from minimal walking. Lack of maintenance or care for the property is evident everywhere. Exit sign hanging off the wall, an ice “room” without a door with an abandoned food bowl sitting in there during our stay and I’m sure it will be there for awhile. “Perks: great breakfast, pool, hot tub, and room. Cons: Terrible fitness area with a broken treadmill and a couple of dumbbells. It was incredibly small and could only fit one or two people at a time. Also the side doors were not working so we had to walk around the building to unload all of our stuff.
