“I understand this was never advertised as a resort, but I did expect the absolute basics to function. Unfortunately, that appears to have been asking too much. The TV didn’t work, the shower wouldn’t drain, and the electrical outlets were so worn out that plugs literally fell out unless they were held in place with electrical tape. The first red flag should have been opening the room and seeing a mattress propped up against the window like it was part of the furniture package. Nothing says...

“One of the better breakfasts we’ve had at a hotel. Building was weird with first floor downstairs. Older building but comfy beds and clean. Very professional staff.”

“The rooms were very large and comfortable for a week-long stay. Hot breakfast was served until 9:30 a.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. on weekends; perfect for us late sleepers from eastern time zones.”

“Very friendly, helpful staff. We used the laundry room and appreciated that they could make change for us at the office. Got coffee every morning. The roses, daisies and rhododendrons were are beautiful. We got very clear instructions on where the best places were preferred for us to take our dogs so we could be good guests. The room was clean and they provided us with fresh towels during our three night stay. We enjoyed quiet and solitude during the evenings.”

“Nice and quiet. Out of town. Rooms were huge. Furnishings were nice oak mission style furniture. Bed was comfortable. Water out of sink was yucky, but they had bottled water in the room to use. Riverview with patio and chairs. Office closes at 6 and isn't open on the weekends. Make sure to call to make arrangements to check in before they close.”
