Hotel a Taylorville

“The breakfast was better than a lot of free hotel breakfast and for the most part, the staff was friendly. The common areas were clean enough but our room left a bit to be desired. For example, you could see handprints in the dust above the lamp. The main issue that we had is that our room didn't get cleaned the entire 6 days that we stayed. The 3rd night, we went to the desk for clean towels. On the 5th morning we stoped by the desk on our way out to inquire why our room had not been cleaned...

“The hotel seemed to be recently updated and still going through updates. The rooms were clean and nice. The pool was closed for cleaning all weekend. The lady working the front desk in the evening wasn't very helpful, didn't know much, and no one was there to check us in and waited for 10 to 15 minutes when we arrived about 9:30 pm. “Room was clean and in nice condition. Nice that there was a bar area in the evening. My only complaint was our keys kept malfunctioning. One wouldn’t work and then the other wouldn’t work. It happened three times. ”
