“We had stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and it was incredibly worn and the service was poor at best-and I swore I would never go back. I learned they had updated the hotel -so I figured I would give it another chance- as there are so few options in Evanston during parents weekend etc. Unfortunately, it was just like putting lipstick on a pig- maybe they painted and got new bedding but it is still old and dilapidated - the bathrooms are yucky.
