“This was a fun, unique overnight site. The caboose was roomier than expected and very comfortable. It's design and decor were on point in keeping with a train line theme. Although quite compact, the kitchenette was well stocked. Our host had left gift cards for a breakfast site, car wash and access to the country club. The most memorable part, you ask? Well, the night we stayed a major thunderstorm came through with 80–100-mile winds. The train is located down 1/4-mile gravel lane - lined...

“The property is undergoing renovations but the room was excellent, bed comfy, staff very friendly and ready to be of assistance. The workout room was small but the machines are top of the line”

“I’m not sure how this place had good reviews. The room stunk like really bad mildew. Half of the outlets didn’t work and the breakfast was a joke. The outside entrance is in really bad need of repair. It just seems like no maintenance has been done in a very long time! On a good note, the receptionist was a really sweet lady!”

“This is overall a great place to spend the night. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The continental breakfast had a good variety of items. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. The only takeaway was the air conditioner didn't work very well. I woke up a few times in the middle of the night and the room was very humid. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.”

“Our shower had a crack in it, it was covered but the tape was coming off. The crack was soft around it. If you accidentally stepped by it, you got a sinking feeling. It has to be something that isn’t safe.”

“Check in was the only okay part of this stay. The lady at the front desk was nice. Besides that, a terrible stay (both rooms): Rusted stairs outside, loud rooms, wood on the doors pulled apart or bent as if doors were broken into repeatedly. The bolt lock was broken, bugs all over the floor in each room (flies and crickets), TV not functional (stuck on setup) - we switched rooms due to this, and the AC took a while to cool. The pool was filled with wood and unusable. The beds were alright but...

“The TV didn’t work. Missed USA World Cup match. Night staff tried to help. Problem is the owners knows about the problem with his TVs but won’t fix it.”
