“Everything the hotel could do was excellent. It was the other guest that made it miserable, the pool was too crowded to use and people were extremely loud in the lobby, even the hotel personnel had to ask them to quiet down. We did see the breakfast when we got up but to be honest we didn’t even ask, we were just ready to leave. Again, it was nothing the hotel could have done differently, just a bad experience from other guest but I think that everywhere now.”

“Close to the Durham Bulls stadium. 5-6 minute walk. Decent breakfast. Afternoon staff checking in was very helpful. Surprised to find a $15 parking charge in the morning…”

“it cost more to have a terrible room by the air conditioning compressors. the toilet leaked. the parking is pay to park in a dirty scary high rise lot across from hotel and down the block. front desk staff was not attentive. the porter was a WONDERFUL person and seemed to do all the work. we didn't like the decor. the denim bedspreads were strange.”

“It was an affordable option in a good location but the floors weren’t fully attached to the ground and the walls were so thin. There were a lot of signs saying that it’s not the hotel’s fault if your stuff gets stolen which did worry me I won’t lie. I also kinda wish the rooms had more amenities like a minifridge or a microwave. Would’ve been super helpful. Overall, it’s not the worst place to stay, but it’s definitely not the best.”

“Great short stay there. I got in late and the front desk agent, Sherise, checked me in quickly. She also gave me a great late dinner recommendation. The property was quiet and I felt safe.”

“The room was relatively clean. It was nice to have the bathroom products available. There was no fan in the bathroom to purge the steam from the shower. The wall unit AC works well, and not real noisy as some hotels.”

“Very cordial and accomodating staff at front desk and elsewhere. Excellent Breakfast Buffet w/ some higher end yogurt, oatmeal & toppings , nice premade omlettes and cinnamon rolls that were not gummy or heavy on the sugar...Fresh fruit , potatoes, and good coffee to name some of the surprises which was all included in the rate.”

“I was to understand that at the price I was paying that Continental breakfast was offered. Got up to eat and was told that I was given the wrong information that breakfast comes with a fee. No more Marriott for my family. For $150 a night and have to pay an extra $15 person in my family just to eat breakfast, we will be going back to Hilton hotels.”

“I just left the hotel I was there for 4 nights. It was the 4th of July weekend. Sad to say there was no staff. We did not have no housecleaning for the room, no one cleaned the pool. No one in the kitchen to have breakfast. If it was not for Ms. Ashely who was working we would have not had anything. I will be calling corporate for a refund. We had no amenities at all and it was so sad. You should expect to receive the service you paid for.”
