“The power went out the second day. I left and went somewhere else instead of starting my second night and the manager, very kindly, told me they were not sure about getting a refund for the stay as the power outage was an “Act of God”.
It was an unfortunate experience I’ve never encountered but I’m not satisfied that it happened on my vacation.”

“We were welcomed by friendly staff and our room was very clean, quiet and beds were so comfortable. The location was convenient to everything we did. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to stay again when I go back to Virginia. The 24 hour coffee and tea availability was a hit for us and the breakfast was excellent, more to choose from than most . Thanks for a wonderful stay !”

“I travel a lot...and Clarion was as great a hotel as any I have stayed, 100%.
Clean, safe area, well maintained, professional and friendly staff, quiet at night, bed was clean and comfortable, so was the restroom...definitely will book there again next time we visit UVA.
BTW, Raising Cane's is 50 steps away in front of the hotel :)”
