Offrendo viste mozzafiato sulla valle di Thredbo da ogni camera, Gone Fishing si trova nel villaggio centrale di Thredbo, all'interno del Parco Nazionale Kosciusko. Esposta a nord, offre il calore invernale della trappola solare su tre piani e comprende due camere da letto più un grande soppalco per i genitori, due bagni, soggiorno e sala da pranzo e una sauna.

Il Loft è una camera da letto con salotto e bagno privato.
Piano terra ideale per bambini con 2 camere da letto e bagno separato.

Con le caratteristiche aggiuntive di un fuoco a legna a combustione lenta, riscaldamento a gas e una sauna, Gone Fishing è una destinazione magica per le vacanze.

A soli 2 minuti a piedi dal villaggio principale, dai ristoranti, dai caffè e dalle fermate degli autobus invernali per il trasporto verso gli impianti di risalita principali. Parcheggio fuori strada per un'auto.

Great atmospheric place

The house is clean, has a nice atmospheric features of a European alpine hotel. Plenty of kitchen appliances, cutlery, mugs for a large family. The large windows with amazing views make the place truly stunning! Some details which make help other travellers:1. Room heating: oil heaters in each room fireplace.2. Hot water: flow, gas heated.3. Connectivity: we used phone mobile data, there were no problems with mob. connection. 4. Host was a most helpful and she has "on the ground" help in the village, so if any problems with accommodation, there is an instant help. 5. Location: 2 min by foot to the both route 2's bus (shuttle) stops Steamboat or Riverside. 3 min by foot to the village centre with cafes, shops, restaurants. 7 min to the golf field and Riverside walking trail.The only thing we miss is the drying room for the skiing boots, but it is so warm in the house that they were pretty fine just after a night on the first floor.

Wonderful stay. Beautifully kept property with everything you need.

The property has a homely European feel and is clean, organised and in a fabulous location. The views across the valley are stunning and the sauna is a bonus.

A wonderful stay

This was the best skiing accommodation we’ve stayed at. Everything was just right - clean, comfortable, charming and fantastic views. The welcome gifts from Deborah were a lovely touch as well. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect week at the snow

Gone Fishing was amazing for our family week at the snow. All the amenities were great and it is such a beautifully presented and cosy home. Well equipped kitchen was a welcome relief after other places having the bare minimum. Deborah was very responsive and great to deal with for any questions we had about the area or home.

Great stay

Deborah’s property was perfectly located close to shops and the snow fields in Thredbo village. Deborah was a great host. She was always accommodating and helpful. The property had super views and the fireplace was a wonderful bonus.

Wonderful family ski holiday

Property is fabulous for a multigenerational family trip - we brought my older parents along and they had their own space and bathroom on the top level. Very well equipped house with plenty of firewood and a sauna. The welcome gift was very generous. We will definitely be back.

BEST family holiday ever!!

I could not speak more highly of this home. Deborah is an amazing host and makes sure everything from booking to check out is easy. The house is next level gorgeous. You just can’t get a better view of Thredbo and from every level of the house!! The house is super warm and cosy and has everything you need for a holiday. The bunks are a lot bigger than I expected and my 5 and 8 year old were very comfortable. The Thredbo bus stop and the village was only a couple minute walk. I can’t wait to come back!!!

A magical time

Gorgeous alpine chalet experience, stunning views, great location, fantastic time had by our family. Deborah is a wonderful host, it is evident that she has a personal interest in her guests enjoying their stay. Gone Fishing is equipped with everything needed to have a very comfortable stay and more, including plenty of heating options for the already cosy spaces, heated towel rails, sauna, even a welcome treat! Perfect retreat for a family summer holiday!

Absolutely perfect digs for our family of 5 over several days of mountain biking action. Walking distance to everything we needed in the village and beautiful views out over the mountain. Wont be the last time we stay here I'm sure!

Fabulous accomodation!

We loved our stay here. The house was amazing, and suited our family perfectly. It was great being so close to the village and chairlifts. Wonderful, unobstructed views of the mountains! Couldn't be happier

We had a great time staying at Gone Fishing. It is nice and clean with beautiful rooms and views. Will recommend it to anyone and will be back again in the winter skiing season

Good location, great views

Deb's place was fantastic for our four night stay. Easily fit in 4 adults (across 3 bedrooms), with options to fit more. The chalet was very cosy and while there are a few sets of stairs, they were not unmanageable after a day out on the snow. Would definitely try to stay here again.

Perfection on The Mountain

We had an amazing extended weekend in Deborah's chalet in Thredbo. The location of this property was perfect for the family, it was within walking distance from the village square and merrits gondola. We could easily pop back to the property for the kids to have a rest or just a quick stroll down to the village if we needed a coffee. The property had everything we needed for our stay (including a tea pot and french press) and was very comfortable. The wood heater heated the property so well that only a t-shirt was needed when inside. Thanks again for welcoming us to your property Deborah.

Fantastic chalet in Thredbo

Our family loved our stay at ‘Gone Fishing’. Everything was as described; well appointed, clean and super comfortable for our weekend in the snow. The sauna was an extra bonus and a welcome luxury from our days in the snow. Huge thanks to our host Deborah!

Great Thredbo base

Loved it. Lots of space to spread the family out, views over the mountain from lots of the rooms, a well stocked kitchen and clean bathrooms. And the location is fabulous. Short walk to the Denman for dinner, or the centre of Thredbo, the village green or to the lifts. Highly recommended
