Hotel a Thruscross

“Beautiful location, very clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!”

“We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

“Staff were vthe best breakfast was amazing”

“It was very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly Polite and helpful we couldn’t have asked for anything else and I would think we will be going there again thanking the staff great fully”

“Friendly staff. Great meal. Good location. Definately stay here again.”

“Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.”

“tutto nella media”

“Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax.”

“The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available.”

“There was plenty room to park and the staff were welcoming and polite. Having booked a superior room we were disappointed that we had been allocated an attic bedroom with a small very window. Although the room itself was quite large the plaster and paint work was in need of some restoration. With regards to breakfast, it was ‘over complicated’ it would have been much easier to have a menu and then choose what you want at the table. The food itself self was too fancy just serve good quality...

“Was nice. Breakfast was good”

“Very easy to find and plenty of easy parking available. Really warm welcome by the staff. The room was a front facing room which looked over the stray. Very clean, good size, great shower. Breakfast in the amazing restaurant was great. Not a massive choice of everything, but enough not to be left feeling short changed. We would definitely book here again and spend longer in the bar, and have an evening meal in the restaurant. Easy walk into town and very quiet on the night.”

“We had a great stay at The Mitre. Really friendly, helpful staff. Right next to the station and a short walk to the waterfront and town. Very comfortable room with everything that we needed.”

“Ok”

“Clean Room. Staff Good.Breakfast Good. Bar Good. Food Good.”

“Hotel adatto per chi ama la tranquillità, struttura molto vecchia ma ben tenuta, molto caratteristico.”
