“I thought Virginia was supposed to be a Southern state but Southern hospitality was missing at this place. Perhaps they just had a dry sense of humor. While the location is convenient, the hotel could use some updating. The breakfast was lacking and they only clean rooms every three days. I think I'll stay elsewhere.”

“It was decent enough for a one night stay. The room was pretty clean, The shower was the size of a shower on a cruise ship maybe a tad bit bigger no bathtub so the bathroom was very small. I used the iron and ironing board there was a coffee machine didn't use it, didn't take advantage of the breakfast, it wasn't very appetizing, and because we left early the next morning for a graduation. “When you first arrived, it was very clean and nice. The lady at the front desk who ran the office was very rude. Then when I got to my room, my room had a terrible stale cigarette odor. There were stains all over the carpet. It really was not clean very old and worn. I also did not have a shower curtain in my bathroom and I asked for one from hose keep ( who was very nice and helpful) But I received a tore up shower curtain. This property can do much better. “The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!”
