Hotel a Toft Monks

“Beeen here again this year, absolutely love it. New rooms as well which we will try next time for sure! 😍”

“This hotel is very well situated, the parking is a bonus and the views from the restaurant are stunning. The food was well cooked and the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the age of the building and the reason why there was no lift but we struggled somewhat to lug two suitcases up to the top floor as our room was in the converted attic. The view from the room was great and the room itself was spacious, it could have benefited from a fridge and some of the roller...

“Camera calda e rumorosa per i motori/ventilatori delle cucine sottostanti. Ristorante da dimenticare ”

“Serviced Room rather than a hotel but no problem in finding it and gaining access! Excellent for comfort and cleanliness with good shower!”

“Very characterful and unique - little bits of history all over the place, and nice big sitting rooms to relax in.”

“lovely breakfast clean”

“From the outside the property had old style appeal and parking which was a positive however when taken to our room this was at the back of the property and you had to pass washing hanging online, a laundry shed and general toot and tat. The entrance to the stairway to the room went past the back of the kitchen where the door was permanently open so you heard all the usual professional kitchen noises.. The stairway to the room smelt of cooking fat and there were dead flowers on the window with...

“Lovely big bathroom , very comfortable bed. Parking wasn’t a problem at all as parking right outside on the street .”

“The room was very warm even with the windows open as it was at the top of the property. A room fan was provided but it meant that there was a constant noise when it was on. The breakfast was really nice.”

“The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you, but it had lots wrong in our rooms, hairdryer didn't work/ over bed lights weren't even connected in, in the other room i booked the shower shot out at every angle/ there was only 1 shower door on so the water ended up all over the toilet & bathroom, & it was more like a shoe box than a room the size of it”

“Service throughout stay was very good, check in quick and with no issues. Room spacious and had all the amenities required. Breakfast and restaurant meals very good with great selection for both.”

“We only stayed for one night but it was brilliant. The cupcakes, milk and eggs left for us were a really lovely touch. My granddaughter was so sad to leave that we will bring the whole family next summer.”

“Lady who runs it was lovely very clean room smelt lovely room was a bit small and bed was not very comfortable but every thing else was spot on”
