“I wanted to have a home base in western Scotland for a few weeks of sightseeing and resting and was delighted by the pictures of this cottage. Being able to look straight out at the water (or mud flats during low tide) and sailboats in the marina was special, as was watching the many happy ducks and hoppity rabbits on the grassy verge. The gardens were lovely, the kitchen well-supplied, and the main room thoughtfully designed and decorated. The bathroom had very hot water but I found the shower...

“This was the absolute PERFECT place to stay in Oban. It was a HUGE VRBO with ample space for 4 adults and 4 kiddos. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great and we were able to do laundry. The view of Oban Bay is unparalleled. I’m not sure there is a better place to stay in the town. It’s centrally located and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view. We highly recommend. The owners were very responsive when we had an issue. It was fixed almost immediately.10 Stars!”

"The right place for a one night stay. Close to the ferry pier and the fish market. The building is old without lift, reception in the pub at ground floor. The room has everything you need in a tiny space. Windows haven't been renewed, very hard to open. Usb plugs by the bed are a smart idea but unfortunately not working. I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event. Overall a good value for money if you look for an essential stay. "
