“In a great location in the centre of Oban, with most of the places you would want to visit within walking distance. There is a convenient car park across the street if you need it. The building is old and full of character, which inevitably impacts on the accommodation - with some ingenious planning of the en-suite bathrooms, but this is more than made up for by the Scottish welcome from the knowledgeable staff. “We had a wonderful experience staying here, and wish it could have been longer! The staff were really nice, especially Sarah who was absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend staying here if you are going to Mull. It’s also easy to get there by bus if you don’t have a car.”

“Owners were lovely, the bar had great cask ale and a very welcoming relaxed vibe. Food looked really good, but the property is a bit tired. Bedroom super clean and comfortable. Overall great value.”

"The right place for a one night stay. Close to the ferry pier and the fish market. The building is old without lift, reception in the pub at ground floor. The room has everything you need in a tiny space. Windows haven't been renewed, very hard to open. Usb plugs by the bed are a smart idea but unfortunately not working. I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event. Overall a good value for money if you look for an essential stay. "
