  • Questa cabina di legno del nord fu costruita nel '54 e ha visto molti aggiornamenti nel corso degli anni. I pavimenti e il soffitto originali in pino sono ancora caldi come lo erano quando furono costruiti. Un grande camino in pietra posato a mano è il centro del soggiorno dove troverete anche una TV da 42 "con Netflix, Youtube TV (ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC, ecc.) E un'enorme collezione di film. In cucina troverai tutto il necessario per cucinare, tra cui caffettiera, pentole, padelle, utensili, piatti e una griglia.

    Ci sono tre camere da letto. La camera da letto sul lago ha un letto matrimoniale e gli altri due hanno letti full size. Inoltre, il soggiorno ha un futon matrimoniale e un futon estraibile. Il totale della cabina può ospitare 10 persone, anche se gruppi di 8 o meno lo troveranno più comodo.

    Abbiamo quattro banchine da 60 piedi condivise tra le nostre tre cabine. Per la stagione tarda pescatore muschiato lasceremo almeno un bacino fino al 30 novembre, più tardi se il tempo lo permette. C'è una potenza di 20 amp disponibile nei dock. Ci sono alcune scale per scendere in riva al lago, ma una volta lì troverai una spiaggia sabbiosa e un pozzo del fuoco sul lungomare.

    I bambini adorano il grande cortile dietro la cabina, dove troverai molto spazio per i giochi di pick-up di calcio e baseball. Alberi e boschi sul resto del lotto offrono posti quasi illimitati per l'esplorazione e il gioco a nascondino. Se ciò non è sufficiente c'è un sentiero ATV / motoslitta / a piedi che corre parallelo alla nostra strada e da lì si può arrivare quasi ovunque nell'area.

    C'è un pozzo del fuoco all'aperto in cabina e la legna è fornita. È responsabilità degli affittuari controllare il sito Web di MN DNR in caso di pericolo di incendio e di limitazioni di incendio prima di utilizzare il pozzo del fuoco all'aperto. Non possiamo inserire qui un link al sito web a causa delle regole VRBO ma se cerchi google per "mn DNR fire limits" sarà il primo link che verrà visualizzato.

Hosts Roy and Denise are so helpful and a delight to socialize with. We had such a great first night there with the fish fry which was totally unexpected. All the surrounding neighbors came by and we enjoyed it! It’s our 3rd time at the cabin and we will be back next summer!

Great place to stay on Vermillion

My group and I stayed here for a fishing tournament on Vermillion. The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating. They even joined us by the fire one night. Great location too!

Snowmobile Trip Stay

My friends and I stayed here for our snowmobile trip and could not be more pleased! Yes, there is good space for a trailer. Roy and Denise were so friendly and helpful! The location is also great. We will be staying here again soon!

The cabin was clean and as described. We had everything we needed. The owners came down to say hello. Very friendly people! We rented the pontoon while there. Had an awesome time on the lake. Check in/out and pontoon rental a very easy process! Would definitely stay there again!

Family getaway

It had everything. The owners were great. It had an awesome water access with water activities. It was walking distance from a bar restaurant. It had several fire pits for getting to know some of the other guests and a large grassy area to play yard games. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would consider staying there again.

Family getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay! The hosts Ron and Denise could not have been kinder. They answered all questions and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was hassle free. The cabin had everything we needed and along with the close proximity to a boat launch we were able to fish to our hearts content. We definitely will be back along with our doggies who also loved it there! Lorrie P

Check-in was easy no hassle. Arrived and cabin was ready. Kitchen was clean and has all basic essentials from? Appliances, utensils, and dishes. The host, Roy, came by and introduced himself and made himself available for any questions. He and his wife went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Cozy quiet cabin

This small cabin was perfect for me, my wife and our Labradors. We traveled to Ely almost daily for various adventures, rented a snowmobile a few miles away, exercised our dogs on the frozen lake and enjoyed our evenings with a fire. It is what I would call a camp but that suits me just fine. The hosts are available next door if you need them. Everything worked and was clean. I would stay here again.

Awesome Surprise After A Long Drive

You really never know what to expect. After a 12 hr drive, this cabin was perfect! We are retired & travel with our 2 yr old Newfoundland. Location was beautiful & the lake made a tranquil setting. Having a dog friendly restaurant in walking distance was super convenient. We’ve been coming up to the Iron Range for years. I feel, we finally found our little house that we can call home when we return. Thank you SO much for stellar hospitality! Dan, Lenette, & Loki

Cozy and Wonderful Northwoods Trip

We booked with Roy and Deneise for our family guys getaway for fishing, enjoying the lake, and outdoors. Both Roy and Deneise welcomed us like we were family and we had a great stay. Great fishing off the dock and the cabin itself was perfect for us. The owners were very responsive to getting the water heater back up and running and they took care of it when we went out for dinner. There was plenty of firewood and we enjoyed a couple of lakeview fires. The proximity to Vermillion access was convenient. We would encourage any group going to Vermillion to check out Roy and Deneise's place!

We loved our stay and would definitely come again, however, the one evening we wanted to use the TV it wasn't working. We also had no Internet, temporarily, the same day. Also a mention of the access to the docks and being steep would be a good idea for those who may not be able to navigate due to health issues/disability. When we arrived we were welcomed by Roy and Otto. We brought our puppers and realized we had forgotten her tie out and Roy brought us one which was great! Great hospitality and well l kept cabin!

We stayed here for a long weekend get away. Place was perfect for us. It was clean, hosts were very friendly and are onsite. Perfect dock space with power. Will stay here again.

We will be back! Great trip!

We couldn't have asked for a better trip to Minnesota. Roy and Denise were the most hospitable hosts. The fireside cabin was perfect for us. It gave us a place to eat, use the restroom and sleep. By no means is it anything fancy, but it's just all you need. It's incredibly quaint and very home-y feeling. We were able to put up a pack-n-play in the front bedroom, so know that is possible if needed! If you need anything at all contact Roy and Denise. They will do anything they can to get you what you need. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for making our first trip so memorable!

Best hosts around!

This was our second year in a row coming to Roy's Last Resort. You will not find nicer hosts than Roy and Denise. They are absolutely the best!

Cozy cabin on a beautiful lake

We really enjoyed our stay, cabin met all of our needs. I enjoyed having a dock to tie the boat to, with access of power. This came in handy with as much I needed the Trolling motor. Fishing was tough but we managed to finally find them after some searching. Owners are very friendly great communication with us from the start. We would definitely stay here again and we will be recommending it others.

Beautiful Cabin and Excellent Location!

This place was amazing! Very clean, great location on the lake, and the owners were awesome. The dock was set up appropriately with power to plug the boats in and there was plenty of space. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful place on Lake Vermillion. Chad Anderson

This was a wonderful place for a family vacation. The cabin was very nice and bigger than thought. The yard was big and great for play.
