“Perfect place for a fun romantic getaway”

“Great location. We were in town for Fiesta, and the place was perfect to go to all the festivities. Walking distance to good food. The address was a little confusing, but all worked out in the long run. A little cramped for two people getting ready for formal events. Would be great for a TDY or place to stay for a while on business. Laundry facility was a bonus! ”

“Very nice owners and clean room. No bugs, no roaches. None. The only bad thing is the pet fee. Staying here a week and they charge $30 a day for two cats. That gets expensive! Our room does not at all smell like cats. My wife got a small mop from the store and mops twice a day to keep everything very clean. We believe it is important to leave a room cleaner than when ypu came. A few other things that were undesirable was some homeless guy running back and fourth on the sidewalk next to the motel...

“Location was close to downtown and met our needs. The house was clean and in good shape. Although, I think there were a few fire detectors missing. The dock was there and the detector was not. We didn't get to use the parking spot promised in the back due to concrete repair going on. But there was ample street parking. The fridge did not work when we arrived and the owner sent maintenance the next day to fix it. All in all, we had a great time.”

“The hotel is old, obviously, and our room was a small one. But I quickly realized that it felt more like staying with family than just having a hotel room — everyone was so astonishingly kind and helpful and friendly. The restaurant is really good — both the generous breakfast and the Indian restaurant they operate later in the day. They talked to my curious teenagers and took an interest in their wellbeing — even adjusting the spiciness of the food for my heat-loving son. I would definitely...

“The property was very nice for my one-night stay. Very clean and the location was great for access to downtown San Antonio! If you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs as the A/C unit in the bedroom was a bit loud. All in all, definitely recommend.”
