“Check in was long (even with reservation) and couldn’t check-in not even one second before the check-in time even with lines of people waiting. We came during the sweltering heat over 4th of July, the bar was closed due to air-conditioning issues, The Penthouse Upper deck was perfect for fireworks viewing and we loved our room at the point on the 4th floor.”

“This is our second stay at the Blennerhassett. We really enjoyed the hospitality at the hotel. The brunch was delicious and we loved the Mimosa flight. This hotel is in a great location and has a very classic vibe to it. We really enjoyed the Speak Easy bar. The bartender was so calm and pleasant. She made amazing drinks! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Parkersburg.”

“Rooms have been remodeled by a do it yourself company. No professional installs. Vinyl floor already has gaps. The outside looks like it is closed. Not the worse but not the best. Area out back had beer bottles and caps on the ground. Staff was friendly and no issues there.”

“Cigarette burns(holes) in my bedding. Dingy, deplorable, smelly ghetto hotel. The pool is closed, the ice machine is broken, the outside security door lock non functional. No fresh coffee in lobby in AM. Instead the staff literally took yesterdays coffee in the carafe, poured it into a container, then microwaved it for 5 minutes, the poured it back in the carafe. All while I watched. Disgusting. Who knows how old that coffee really is. DO NOT stay here. Strongly advise against it. Good...

“Only thing I did not like was the room window did not have curtain that closed and the people mowing could look right into room or anyone in the back of the property can see in. Other than that I enjoyed my time I stayed. Bed could have been a lil stiffer.”

“Our room was dirty along the baseboards and doors, the shower handle didn’t work and had to have someone fix it, the shower was dirty along the perimeter. We forgot a couple things in the room and they threw them away.”
