“We stayed here for a wedding. We had a two year old with us. They do not have cribs or pack n plays available. We were on the third floor. There is no elevator so we had to climb up and down the stairs with all the kids and luggage. It was very inconvenient. The pillows were small, square pillows and not a normal size for a queen size bed. The stove burners were all uneven, which made it difficult to cook on. “This is my preferred hotel in Topeka. The rooms and hotel property are consistently clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant options are pretty good.”

“There is a bar and food in the restaurant in for the evening, 5pm - 10pm. There is a limited pay as you go breakfast where regular coffee is free. Not a showstopper where the staff is very friendly and the establishment is clean and well maintained.”

“Our room was great! However, the hot tub water was green with brown ring around tub! The room was clean and nice! But they definitely need to fix this place up! Front doors of hotel left open day and night! Needs a paint job badly and fixing up! The complimentary breakfast was not very good! Limited choices! We booked for hot tub, if we would have known it was in this shape would have went elsewhere, but we couldn’t get a refund for room! This is not up to a Marriott standard hotel!”

“Breakfast was less than average and very expensive for counter service. Don't call it granola if all you do is break up a commercial granola bar. Oatmeal was poorly cooked and unexplainably expensive. Shower, on the other hand, was outstanding, but hallway inside room is too narrow to bring the luggage cart in. Also lighting in bathroom and sleep area is very weak and not useful. ”

“This was a more basic Country Inn and Suites. Simple breakfast. Clean rooms. Nice looking pool however we didn’t swim so not sure if it was warm or not. Nothing fancy. A bit high priced for what it is.”

“Our room did not look like it had been cleaned well. There were stains on the floor, bathroom cabinets and tub. The sink in the kitchen area did not drain well and the disposal wasn’t working, this led to an odor. We planned to use the dishwasher but there was a plastic spoon and garbage bits in there as well as gross water in the bottom of the dishwasher. The faucet in the shower was coming off from the wall. “We stayed here one night first room was completely disgusting there was trash and pee in the bathroom and dirty used bedding and towels they told us there was no housekeeper to clean rooms we were on the 1st floor we were offered another room on the 2nd floor it was similar but a bit cleaner. When checking out we asked for our deposit back and the lady acted like we never gave them one. Definitely NOT STAYING HERE AGAIN !! ”

“Check in lady was rude when we notified them the facet in tub was running and unable to turn off. Had to beg for towels on several occasions. Staff even told us that giving us towels was not their job. Staff constantly on video calls when approached desk and were motioned to wait a minute. Only thing good about was it was clean, although sheets were stained, and location for us.”
