Log Cabin nel cuore degli Adirondacks che ha tutto

Sereno alloggio di 4 stagioni. Situato tra il fiume Ausable e Jay Mountain, a 5 miglia da Whiteface Mtn, High Peaks e 20 minuti da Lake Placid. La cabina è situata su 7 acri del parco Adirondack e sulla Upper Jay Mountain. Sentiero privato fino alla montagna ti porta a una vista mozzafiato che si affaccia su un laghetto. Tranquillità e bellezza della natura intorno a te.
The White Moose Cabin ha una cucina completamente attrezzata e sala da pranzo informale. Grande camino in pietra nel soggiorno, TV, internet wireless è disponibile in tutta la cabina e nei dintorni. Il primo piano è composto da un bagno completo con doccia e vasca e due camere da letto, tra cui letti queen size. Il secondo piano ha due camere da letto, letti queen size, bagno di servizio, camino e vista sulle montagne e sul cielo. Totale di 9 persone possono dormire in cabina.
Portico schermo offre un grande relax mentre godendo la vista sulle montagne, ascoltare il sussurro delle foglie degli alberi e le canzoni degli uccelli. Barbecue nel cortile sul retro, e le sedie intorno al pozzo del fuoco sono il luogo perfetto per godersi il cielo di Adirondack.

The White Moose ha anche una sala giochi attrezzata con freccette, tavolo da ping pong, air hokey table, calcio balilla e molti giochi del cervello.
Le piste da sci di classe mondiale a Whiteface Mountain sono solo cinque miglia di distanza. Il villaggio olimpico di Lake Placid è di circa venti minuti di viaggio. I sentieri escursionistici di High Peaks sono a meno di mezz'ora dalla baita. La cabina White Moose si trova sul fiume AuSable, luogo perfetto per la pesca alla trota. The chalet was exactly what my family needed. Matt was very accommodating regarding our guest count. The walking trails and access to the river were amazing. The house was very cozy, spacious and plenty of room. The screened in porch was perfect. Thank you Matt!

The property was a perfect place to experience the solar eclipse totality! The common area and kitchen provided space for my family to relax, stay connected by WiFi, cook and eat comfortably. Lots of light and the Adirondack decor throughout the house matched the feel of the outdoor space! We enjoyed the porch, fire pit (wood available) with chairs, the trail to the beaver pond and just the feeling of privacy. Our time here was “easy”. The owner has thought through how to make a visit to his place special in a rustic fashion!

Perfect place for a ski trip with family and friends. The game room was great for the kids and the property was very close to Whiteface we’re we skied. The grilling area outside was sheltered and covered so grilling during a snowstorm was no problem! The driveway was also plowed several times, making it stress free to get to the slopes on a powder day. Great trip. Big enough for two families of 4 to spend a week together comfortably!

Great proprety, well equipped, game room was a success with the kids. Gas fireplace to relax after a day of skiing. BBQ was also useful to make diner. Close to Whiteface mountain. Host were quick to respond to inquiries. Will definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a great location, within close proximity to Whiteface Mtn and the village of Lake Placid. The kids really enjoyed hiking in the woods, walking down by the river, and investigating the beaver dam. We were able to make a fire and enjoy the beautiful Adirondack scenery. Easy to find off 9N, flat driveway, cleared of snow. we enjoyed playing ping pong and board game and watching TV one night. Bathroom is spacious with nice stall shower. Towels on beds decorated in shape of a bear...cute touch. Large dining table, and good amount of plates, flatware, glasses

The house had a great open floor plan in the main area with a nice fireplace. The game room in the house is great for kids. It was conveniently located to Lake Placid and Whiteface. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive.

Our family of 5, plus 1 Goldendoodle enjoyed both the relaxing ambiance of the cabin and it's location in the beautiful High Peaks area of the Adirondack Mountains. We all enjoyed several of the nearby dining establishments and ringing in the New Year at New Vida Preserve. Whiteface skiing and awesome winter hiking are close by to enjoy as well as Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Matt was a great host and we all hope to make a return visit.

We spent a lot of our trip out on the trails, but it sure was great to come back to a cozy home to warm up and relax. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two kids, dogs, and the extended family who stayed with us. Plenty of space to be together and space to be apart when you wanted privacy. Hopeful that we can return to the same spot next year!

The cabin is close to hiking and other activities, and equipped with lots of games for rainy days. Visitors should know that one of the bedrooms on the ground floor is accessed with stairs and is far from the bathroom, so not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

The cabin was clean and updated, super shady/low light. My kids (age 7 and 4) loved the game room which was great since it rained a lot. Matt the owner stopped by for a chat (super nice guy) and his son lives above the garage. I’d recommend this place in the winter for skiing Whiteface. Thanks!

Great place to stay if you are looking for a place to relax in the Adirondacks whether hiking, fishing or just hanging out with family and friends. Fully stocked kitchen for making or grilling dinner in and entertaining and all the comforts of home. Spacious and accommodates 8-9. Easy and fast communication with host. Son next door in garage apartment was very friendly. Definitely will stay again! Thank you for sharing your mountain home!

We stayed at the property with our preteen, teenager, elderly parents and dogs. Very relaxing time for all. There was really nothing we had to pack because everything was provided. The owner was very helpful with any questions that we had in preparation for the trip. The first floor bedroom was very handy for my father. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful property. We enjoyed the short drive to the lake placid attractions and my husband enjoyed the fly fishing. Matt was very good at communicating with us. Whenever I contacted them during the trip. His son next door was also very kind and helpful.

We had a great stay! The house was nice and exactly what we expected. It was a little off the grid but very quiet and safe. There is no cell service unless you are on wifi which is provided free at the house. The drive to whiteface mountain ski resort was easy and quick. The host called me the first night we were there to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I thought that was super nice! The house has everything you would need for your stay! I loved the screened in porch and the fire pit out back. They even had dog bowls just in case you forget them! If we ever go back to lake placid I would definitely rent this home again!

The house exceeded our expectations. The game room was a wonderful addition all the children spent most of their time when we were in the house in the game room. Matt was wonderful and communicated with us when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking this again next year

We loved the location and the views of this property. Close to skiing and lots of local places to eat. A little quirky layout in that you have to pass through bedroom no. 3 to get to bedroom no. 4 but other than that it was fine.

The location was absolutely perfect. Only 15 minutes from Lake Placid. The owner called to check in with us upon our arrival to ensure everything was ok. That was appreciated. The game room could stand to be updated and was not cleaned but the overall condition of everything else was good. A great place to stay for a long weekend.
