“Accommodations were fine. The key cards were not working and it took several trips to get it sorted. Front desk gal was very helpful though”

“Easy check-in/check-out process. Room was clean, TV worked, conveniently located, reasonably priced. My only complaint is the lack of pillows and bedding. Pillows were insanely flat/thin, only 2 provided along with a thin comforter and loose sheet. Could have been more comfortable. The shower also would randomly get scorching hot for a good 10-15 seconds. The toilet also off and on sounded like it was trying to fill the tank constantly.”

“Room was not well maintained. Good location for our needs. $275 per night was a little steep for the quality.”

“Very nice updated motel. Room was very clean and pleasant. The location was convenient to the downtown area shops and restaurants. It also is across the street from the river and we saw a couple boats come in. The young man that checked us in and also was there this morning at checkout was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area, he gave us some great tips. It’s very refreshing to see a person who likes their job and is good at it!”

“This was a wonderful hotel. Loved that it was immaculate and quiet. Location was near downtown. The bike path was close by.”

“Located on the shore of Lake Superior and the Big Iron River, this AmericInn feels like you’re at the end of the world. It’s very quiet and serene. Thankfully there is a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel otherwise it’s slim pickings for places to eat. If you’re looking for a high energy, glitzy getaway, this is not the place for you. If you just want to relax, wander the shoreline, and enjoy a community campfire, this is your best option.”

“Great place to stay and was in just the right location for me. The beach access was the icing on the cake. Would also like to mention the neat little cottages or motel style rooms were really cheerfull with their yellow trim. And finally I have to bring up the fact there was a actual shower curtain liner in the shower. I could not tell you when the last time I seen one of them actually being used. The place I'm at now doesn't.”
