“If I could give this B&B 10 stars, I would. Richard has thought of everything. We got there past the normal check in time a bit stressed by very long waits due to road work. Richard greeted us with a glass of wine, gave us a tour of the mansion and phoned a nearby restaurant to ensure that they would still serve us dinner. “We were only at the property for one night, but clean and comfortable. They had a nice hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon that was very good. This was our first time meeting in the pub area near the front desk, and there was a nice group of other parents who had children graduating from college. We enjoyed the company of the others, and the woman that served everyone had a great personality. It was an enjoyable experience.”

“Cons: Smell- the air freshener in the lobby was VERY strong. My son and I both are allergic to fragrance and had troubles with breathing, headache, and rashes because of this. We also had to use our own soaps, though we are used to this. A good rule of thumb is little to no artificial fragrance for those with asthma and allergies. Breakfast- was a little disappointing. “This was an okay stay. We had 3 little kids that used the pool area. The pool area could use some maintenance on their slides and a warmer pool temp, it worked well for our family. Our breakfast consisted of frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches. None of this stuff bad, but certainly expected a bit more for over $200 for a one night stay.”

“ Everything was great. There 2 super minor things to critique. We ran out of hot water when showering with that many guys to shower after long day out hunting (we just staggered our showers over longer time frame for the second day) and there was loose step stone on the steps. But like I said great place, all of the guys look forward to renting this place for next year too! Thanks for letting us stay!”
