The condo was mediocre. Location is good (other than the freeway noise), kitchen was well stocked, and the hosts were accommodating in getting us in an hour early, which my family appreciated.
The biggest issue was the lack of ventilation for the three bedrooms that were upstairs. Even with fans running and the windows open it was too hot for some of my family to sleep which made for a challenging three days. I suspect that a single floor condo would do better, but not having HVAC in a two floor unit was tough.
In addition, for some unknown reason, at least two of the alarm clocks in the unit had been set and turned on. One went off at midnight and the other at 6am. Not sure why a condo even has alarm clocks in 2022, but that was frustrating.
Lastly, the unit just wasn't that clean feeling - and I don't mean that people didn't clean it - it's just kind of worn out and in need of some freshening up.
All in all, this rental was fairly cheap for Vail and so I shouldn't be surprised that it wasn't great - just set your expectations accordingly.
