Great location but not especially hospitable

A mixed bag. The good: excellent AC, great location, you ARE a tourist there and the neighborhood ragamuffins on the plaza will do their best to peek into your rooms and chant “lady don’t close the window” when you want privacy. Mildly annoying but at least you don’t feel Like everything is curated to cater to tourists! The not so good: buildings in some disrepair- the banister is broken and the steep stairs are a hazard when you are taking them with bags. The terrace door is impossible to lock so you’ll want to be ok with that. ungenerous with its amenities (eg terrace can only be lit with candles and none stored, no umbrella for the sudden rain, watered down antibacterial soap only in bathroom) Also, I contacted the host a week before my arrival to make a 1-night modification and worked with Vrbo because host said it was up to them but when Vrbo approved it the host declined. So they were not entirely honest nor willing to help out (I had to change my flight). Its their prerogative but I would not return though I’m a regular visitor to Venice. The terrace is smaller than pictured and unusable in the hotter months. In short, only stay in the cooler months when you can use the terrace and for longer periods when it makes sense to get all the provisions, and careful with the first flight of stairs.

Tolle Lage, grosse Terrasse, wenig Style

Das Apartment ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen. Den Blick auf den grossen Platz kann man allerdings leider nur von der grossen Terrasse aus gut sehen. Die beiden Schlafzimmer gehen nach vorne raus und sind etwas voll gestellt.

Venice apartment

The best things were the location, to the sights and it was situated in a lovely square. It had a rooftop terrace which overlooked the square which was the perfect setting for a glass of wine after a days sightseeing

Great location, a few glitches

There is much to recommend this bright apartment but was let down a bit by things that could easily be improved. It’s great because very central yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet square. Roof terrace a huge plus made up for a small living space. Clean and tidy kitchen and bathroom with modern fittings. Apartment wasn’t ready on arrival (beds unmade from last occupants not nice to see). We met keyholder 45 mins early and waited while WiFi being tested (seems to indicate working but isn’t) and by check in time at 2.30 cleaners hadn’t arrived. We went out asking to be advised when all was ready - chased it up but word only came at 5pm. Not good since check out is 10am so plenty time to get it ready. Sheets were clean and crisp but the throws on top seem to be put back each time without laundering and look grubby. Sofa and chair in sitting area also a bit grubby. Iron and board were important for us as attending events and we’d asked several times in advance about this but no board and iron had burnt surface so left black marks. We were told about refuse collections but something written down showing location points would have been helpful. Skimpy supply of toilet paper!

Comfy and cosy

Not far away from San Marco with 2 adjacent (not-so-mini-at-all)markets, this apartment is perfect for 2 to 3 people. We were warmly welcomed by the Easy Keys Agency manager and were showed around the apartment; very friendly contact, very simple check-out, no problems at all. + pretty spacious for Venice, great shower fittings, private balcony, induction stove - undersized mokka pot (only for 1 person or 1 espressi at one go), no mosquito nets, Campo can be a little noisy in the morning Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would book again.

Wunderbare Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist an einem nicht zu stark versuchten Platz gelegen. Restaurants und Bars sind nahe gelegen. Sowohl in die Altstadt, als auch in andere Teile Venedigs gelangt man schnell. Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet, gut klimatisiert und die Schlafräume sehr ruhig. Die Dachterrasse reicht zum Frühstücken oder einem Abendausklang. Eine sehr schöne Wohnung.

Ok-would not go back

The property was fine but almost everything that occurred prior to check in was unpleasant and made me worry about our visit. The listing was not clear regarding fees. The property manager was very rude about payments. First not being clear about timing. She asked for payments before VRBO said they were due. She still has not answered questions I asked repeatedly about timing, then encouraged us to cancel when her payment system didn’t work. We finally got it to work just by repeatedly attempting the same card. She should consider using VRBO for payments because it is much easier and much more clear. There were also a couple of things in the apartment that were broken when we we got there. They didn’t effect our stay, but is shows the level of care the apartment gets. Check in was easy. The person that met us was nice and helpful. The location is great. Easy to get from the airport to the apartment via Alilaguna. We were happy we were only there for 2 days. That was enough.

Schöne Lage mit Blick auf einen venezianischen Platz

Schönes helles Appartement, modern eingerichtet und sehr schön gelegen. Besonders toll ist die Dachterrasse und der Blick auf den wunderbaren venezianischen Platz. Sie könnte allerdings ein paar neue Möbel vertragen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. ;-)

Sehr gute Lage für einen Kurzaufenthalt, dennoch ruhig

Schöne Dachterrasse und funktionell ausgestattete Wohnung. Gute Bäckerei zum Frühstücken gleich um die Ecke. Gute Erreichbarkeit von der Vaporetto-Station. Schlüsselübergabe hat problemlos funktioniert.

Simple, unfussy, internal space with a tremendously appealing roof deck. The location is very central and the Campo (although it certainly has its ration of tourists passing through) is populated by local kids, older people, dogs, etc. Very pleasing.
