“It was just what I needed. A quiet comfortable place without any frills as I was just spending one night. The shower worked fine there was plenty of hot water. It was all good. And it was reasonably priced within my budget!”

It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. My experience was thus: Pros: Cheap (cheapest room around) Quiet (no one bothered me) Cold (the air conditioning worked great; stayed cool in very hot summer days) Location (walking distance to a Target, a sporting goods store, a steakhouse etc. It's not a sketchy area) Downtown Keene is just 5 minutes away. There are rotaries which you will likely have to drive through to get back and forth. The hotel price may attract ill-reputes, but everyone i saw...

The cozy wooden houses are free-standing, which gives you excellent privacy, making them perfect for either a family trip or a solo getaway.
