“Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed, from dishwashing and laundey detergent. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The building was in a newly constructed buidling and gated. The pool was just a walk away in another gated section. We were very close to downtown and the highway. We will stay here next time we're in town.”

“Very Nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and modern with a luxurious feel throughout. Valet parking was a little overpriced at $48/daily. But everything else was exquisite. ”

Just keep in mind that this hotel is located downtown, where the energy is high and there’s always something happening. If you’re looking for absolute quiet, this might not be the best fit, as you will hear the city life outside. That said, the vibrant atmosphere adds to the experience, and I would happily stay here again.”

“Great property, rooms were large and very comfortable. The kitchenette was great and the full size fridge and freezer came in handy. 2 adults and 2 teens in the room and we all had space. Nice walk to the football stadium and we felt very safe. Only negative is the parking garage is not marked well enough for the hotel. Highly recommend this property!”

“My wife and I enjoyed a night at this hotel in Charlotte. I appreciated the elevator access was restricted to our floor and the breakfast was clean and delicious. Valet parking made it easy getting in and out. Although there weren't any events or crowds outside the hotel late that night, they offered white noise and ear plugs since trains run by. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and fully stocked. Thanks!”

“Stayed 3 nights in August 2025 with my better half. We are simple, easy going people. While we do get to spend nights at hotels that are $400+ a night (for work purposes) even they like to nickel & dime you. This hotel was 100% opposite of that on the financial side and just as relaxing to stay at as the super expensive hotels. Hot breakfast & cocktail hour w/ snacks all of which was complimentary. A nice indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub was relaxing. A very nice in hotel bar that we did not...

“We love staying here! The history and grand decor from the past make it so fun. The bar has a European/English feel. Restaurant comes and goes depending on chef but during this stay, breakfast was delicious! I would recommend checking out its history to make it more special. Staff has always been fabulous.”

“I had stayed here once many years ago and remembered that visit as very positive. This one was the same, only perhaps a bit better because it was on a Wednesday night, meaning 1/2 price bottles of wine and excellent conversations with the locals who flock here for that occasion. Easy walk to Truist for minor league baseball. Room was again quiet and comfortable. I could have stayed someplace farther out from the center of town for less money, but decided to Do the Dunhill once again. Glad I did.”
