“I picked this hotel because of proximity to downtown. It was exactly as pictured. Everything was SPOTLESS. We stayed in a cottage. Kitchen had everything we needed. Its a very quiet hotel. Now parking is pretty tight for large trucks on the cottage side if the lot is full. We lucked out and went when it was slow. We would have just parked on the other side of property if we had needed to. There are big ceiling fans in living room and bedroom which we loved. Also there is ac and heat in both...

“Spent the weekend in Hot Springs, perfect base camp. Just east of downtown quick access to National Park, walkable but we parked downtown. Go east and back road to Gulpha Gorge Campground is peaceful spot to enjoy nature. Our room #4 was super clean and stylish, fun color combinations/design and historic photos of nearby landmarks. Toilet area is small, but doable for weekend. Rest of bathroom is wonderful, great vent, lit mirror, and tub/shower with plenty of room, full length mirror inside...

“We stayed a couple nights during a round trip. We knew going in that the hotel was under renovation and that the property is very old. The outside and lobby are beautiful. Our room was very clean, but worn due to age. As long as you expect this you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed live music in the bar and valet parking was very convenient. We enjoyed a massage and bath in the Hotel Spa. ”

“Water is right outside the sliding glass door. You get your own picnic bench, you have your own grill if you want to grill out ( and they even supply the charcoal) , there are portable fire pits you can use and put on your patio ( they supply the firewood for free also! what!? oh , yea). The bed was a little soft for my liking but I like a super firm bed so thats neglegable depending on what you like. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing is, if you go in the fall or winter the lake...
