“We enjoyed our stay at The Chicago northwest Marriott last weekend. The hotel was well maintained, though my sister in law complained about water tracking from the pool (it didn’t bother me). I liked the gym ; it was clean and the treadmill was easy to use. The beds and pillows were great, and the lighting bright. Most importantly, the air conditioner worked really well. “The staff was amazing and the food from the Placery was really good. The property itself could use an update. The window in my room was cracked with a bad repair and the air conditioner was very loud and did very little to cool off the room. The room needed to be updated.”

“Room was clean, breakfast was fine and staff were nice. The side door to the building had a non working lock so you could exit through that door, however you couldn't enter through that door and had to always use front door. There was no sign on the door that it didn't work so guests often tried to use it and then had to walk around to the front door. The indoor pool was frigid and felt like it either had a broken heater or the heater was turned down to a point that it wasn't usable. Our kids...

“Was very noisy, between the constant walking around in the room above us, and from what sounded like laundry machines going at night. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful though. Updated older building.”

“Very dirty place. The halls, elevators, and outside perimeter were dirty. I did not see anyone maintaining the property. Carpet was filthy and not vacuumed at all. Bedding was dirty, towels were dirty and were like rags. I will not be returning!”

“This is a flop huose, rooms by week or month. Had I only known, I would not have stayed there but it was too late to change. Expedia misrepresented this place. no hair dryer, holes in wall and bathroom door, rusted metal frame around mirror and light fixture, no carpet, just fake wood vinyl flooring, lobby closed from 5am to 9am, YOU have to take out garbage to dumpster or get charged $50, 'furniture' for aloset all open front (without doors) making it look like a gym locker room with everything...

“The pool was closed, our room was dirty and they gave us a room smaller than we had reserved. The smoke alarms went off at 4:00, waking all 5 of my kids. Overall the hotel is outdated and needs a renovation. I wouldn’t recommend.”
