“Clean room and great breakfast”

“This is a truly unique hotel. It was beautifully, renovated, spacious, super clean, and very convenient for exploring Marshall. The restaurant was good, and it was very relaxing sitting on the deck and listening to the river. The unit was nicely equipped. The only difficulty we had was getting a hold of anyone for questions when we arrived. The phone number in the binder did not answer our call nor reply to text message. I did see a very helpful employee cleaning the next day who answered...

“This location was nice, especially for the price but there were a couple things that would have made it better but that's ANY hotel/motel you stay at. I loved the pool and the breakfast was decent but there were no protein options, more continental but that's ok too because I am not complaining about free food and coffee!! We wiill stay here again!”

“When we got in the room it appeared to be clean. We were on the first floor in room 101. The window was unlocked which was unsettling. We got over that and then there were worms of some sort that were coming in under the door. We will not be staying there again.”

“Hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke that eventually leaked into our room,. If you like the smell of cigarettes then it will not bother you.”

“Hotel inside was clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. No fault of the hotel management, construction all around facility causing it to look cluttered, Dog friendly could use a grassy area for pet owners to walk their dogs. Didn't use the pool. Standard breakfast pleasant. Room was clean and no carpet a plus, Bed comfortable soft/firm”

“This is my first time ever staying in a hostel before and I am so impressed... Are first I didn't understand it or was a little nervous but once the owners talked to me and everyone was so friendly, I got unshy really quick!!! Perfect location to whatever you're desiring to do in town and if its further then it's just a short bus ride to anywhere... I've never met Kinder people in my life and never felt so welcome somewhere! I wish I could give it 1000 stars... thank y'all so much ❤”

“Spacious room, despite the road noise. This room has a large balcony patio but no furniture to even enjoy it. The pull out couch is not what you may expect not a true pull out with mattress more of a foldout onto the floor. Upon check in we were told housekeeping every other day, but apparently that starts after 3 nights of stay??? Family of 4 in a room means you will likely run out of things and trash will accumulate. Seems like staff doesn’t really truly know housekeeping policy. Otherwise...
