Rise refreshed from a good night’s rest and kick start the morning with a Nespresso coffee, just make sure you bring plenty of your favourite pods! Prepare a delicious breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen and make a plan for the day. Pop the dishes in the dishwasher once you’re done, and head out!

If a relaxing day is on the cards, take your pick of places to put your feet up with a book, or to post your latest holiday snaps using the unlimited complimentary WIFI. On a frosty winter’s day, nothing beats lighting the fire and getting cosy watching a movie together.

On those summer days, open the floor to ceiling doors in the living room, and let the outside in! Enjoy the seamless flow from the living room to the undercover outdoor patio, where you can sip a glass of Central Otago Pinot Noir as you watch the kids play on the lawn. If you want to catch a few rays yourself, why not take up residence on one of the bean bags and enjoy the tranquility of the garden.

Come evening, you’ll be able to continue enjoying the outdoor living space at Meadowstone Family Retreat. Grill some delicious local produce on the BBQ and enjoy dining alfresco as the sun goes down; the outdoor heater will keep you toasty warm all evening long.

Meadowstone Family Retreat is just a 10 minute walk from the Wanaka Lakefront, and all the shops and eateries town has to offer. Take a wander along the lakefront to #ThatWanakaTree for a family photo, and enjoy an ice-cream from Black Peak Gelato, or a pub meal from the Speights Ale House, on the way home.

For adventures further afield, Treble Cone and the Cardrona Alpine Resort are only 45 minutes away by car, or why not have a little bit of fun at Puzzling World, just 6 minutes up the road!
