We had extended family gathering from across the country for an interment at Arlington National Cemetery, and for that purpose this house met our needs very well. The bedrooms are spread out over three floors so we could separate the early sleepers from the late night folks easily. The mattresses were amazing, and several people raved about the pillows. The house is easy walking distance from the Metro, a grocery store, a pharmacy and dozens of restaurants and bars. Our gen Z family members enjoyed the cornhole and outdoor Jenga games! This would be a five star rating except for a few issues. The kitchen is not particularly large or well stocked and we had to borrow items from a nearby family member and buy quite a few items that are typically stocked in VRBO kitchens of houses this size. We tend to make meals when together, not eat out, so this was an issue for us, but might not be for others. There were no extra blankets anywhere in the house. The staircases are narrow and might be difficult for some folks with mobility issues to navigate. And while I am sure this is not an always issue, we were there after the area had had some rain and a strong sewage smell was present in the kitchen area the entire time we were there. You don't want to be anywhere that smells like sewage, but especially not the kitchen. The owners were very fast to respond to any and all questions we had, which was appreciated.
