“Really great hotel with so much attention to detail. Record players in the room and a huge selection of records is a really nice touch. The Radio was on when we arrived to our room and the Pantry is generous & a really unique touch. Canadian lady on the Bar was knowledgeable & super friendly (Pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the extensive bar menu was priced). Just really really cool & great location.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and whenever we interacted with them. Our room was clean and in good condition. The outdoor beer garden was a great place to enjoy an afternoon drink, and family friendly for our five-year-old to join. The hotel was located a short distance from the Bootham Bar entrance to the city centre and conveniently located near other amenities.”

“The real problem is that the spa is not working and that’s the reason why I stayed in the hotel. I should have been notified same way I got a message about how busy is the restaurant and that needs to be booked beforehand. ”

“This hotel is beautiful. We originally booked a standard room which was tiny and had the most uncomfortable bed. The toilet was so close to the door the toilet roll holder was jammed to your leg and we are fairly average sized people. We decided to upgrade for the 2nd night and got a King deluxe which was amazing with a favourite roll top bath and separate shower. Much more spacious and the bed was firm but much better than the previous bed. Unfortunately the A/C wasn't working and made a...
