“This is a budget motel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room had the usual budget motel musty smell. The shower stall is small. But on the positive side, the room had a couch, a dining table, and the table settings needed to have breakfast in the room. The heater worked well, as did the available blankets.”

The concierge was friendly, the room clean and spacious and the location was only a few minutes drive from the centre of Katoomba and other tourist attractions. “We liked the room which was bright and spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was little noticeable room cleaning and beds were left unmade for all three nights. Breakfast is quite basic and fresh coffee costs extra. Decor is quite olde-worlde. But we were very comfortable there.”
