“I stayed overnight at the Publick House for my next days visit to Old Sturbridge Village. What a wonderful stay and the restaurant at the inn is fantastic. Make sure to make a reservation for though —It’s worth the effort. I ordered the Jumbo Crab Cake adorned with a lovely house made cole slaw and paired it with a local draft beer. “Room was very clean and spacious . Bathroom was very clean too. Only complaint was hot food at breakfast was not kept up with for the amount of guests on a Saturday morning and the one attendant was trying to keep up. Maybe have 2 attendants might help.”

“Our stay here was terrible. The room didn’t look or feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned. The sink was disgusting with stains and black mildew. We chose a non-smoking room, but the room still had an odor. Also, the bedding had cigarette burns in them. It doesn’t appear that they launder their linens separately, which isn’t good for guests who are sensitive to smoke. The walls were paper thin, and we could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. We had to call the front desk to ask if...
