“Even though the staff was nice and professional, the hotel rooms and the hotel in general were run-down. The rooms we stayed in had dirty walls, and the mattresses were as hard as rocks. A little paint goes a long way. The staff was super nice; it's just that the hotel was very outdated. We had to stay there due to no vacancy at the other hotels in Big Lake. I probably wouldn't stay here again if it were an option. ”

“Overall, the condo was nice. However, the big disappointment is that the shower drain did not drain properly and the shower floor would fill and flood into the bathroom within about 5 minutes in the shower. To me, this is just about as bad as staying somewhere that the toilet doesn’t work in. To stay in a place this nice, the expectation would be that at least those basic necessities work flawlessly. Very disappointing and I’m not so sure that I would stay there again.”

“Our family had an amazing stay at the Guadalupe River Roost! The house had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The kids loved the pool and games. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and comfy living area. The host, James, was incredibly responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations. We highly recommend this property for families looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway. We plan to make this trip annual and what love to stay again! ”
