“Good breakfast. Replaced my fridge quickly. Shower drain was backed up daily.”

“The room was clean but smelled like dog. We stayed in four hotels that week across the country and this had the worst breakfast, cold biscuit, bad sausage,no egg all at 840 breakfast closed at 9. a little disappointing”

“The room was clean, getting there was another story. Outdoor garbage was overflowing, inside garbage was overflowing, there were empty beer bottles on the tables in the lobby and no one was around. The elevators were filthy, was worried what our room was going to look like. However, it was clean and cool, the bed was comfy. It is literally right next to interstate 80 so the traffic noise is real.”

Broken/cracked mirror, significant wall damage, some areas of the walls were not even painted, ripped screen on window, stained furniture, and the over all smell in the hotel was something we can’t even explain. Key cards stopped working 4 hours before check out. Bags of garbage sat in the hallways on the 2nd floor all day and into the evening. If it hadn’t been our son’s graduation and all hotels in the area weren’t booked we would have walked out. This room...

“I have stayed at this hotel for seminars and have always been impressed with the staff and the location and decided to bring my family here for our activity. The room was clean and the view to the courtyard was amazing. The weekend buffet had quite a variety delicious foods and our waitress was nice and made sure our coffee was full. Would definitely recommend for any activities in the Iowa City area.”

“It is a good hotel and I would consider staying there again. I have two complaints; the first is that the TV never really worked properly while we were there. It kept losing the signal. The second issue is that the housekeeper would blast his (bad) music while he was working. It was so loud that you could hear it down the hallway even with the room door closed. That definitely was not very relaxing.”
