“We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. ”

“Clean room, been partly modernised since my last visit but still somewhat dated and paintwork etc needs touching up. Smart TV in the room this time though it was very slow and while the apps worked, the main live channels didn't seem to. Not anything which really bothered me but may others. Breakfast was cooked to order and fantastic. Friendly staff throughout, speedy check in. A big improvement since my last visit, still a little way to go.”

“Off the main road which was good. We thought it was a nice, pleasant place to stay within a short drive of Chester. I would recommend this place to friends visiting the area. We were just a couple that stayed for a week whilst building work was completed on our house and found it competitively priced so if you are a group of 4 then it would represent even better value. “Very nice building, in a central position. You can easily walk to all the destinations in Wrexham and/or easily get to the train station and bus station. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked and served. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended if you’re planning to visit Wrexham.”
