“Breakfast is a "cold" style breakfast besides the waffle maker... ex: cereal, milk, bananas, oranges, pastries and yogurt. Indoor pool was open and clean.”

“Good room for one night. Wish vending took card but other than that it was nice.”

“Our room had an awful musty smell. When we asked the front desk if there was something we could do, we were told that housekeeping did not show that day but offered to come and spray lemon scented Lysol. We discovered the AC was leaking, causing the carpet to be soaked in a large ring on that side of the room. We assume this was causing the smell. We stayed for 3 nights and never had housekeeping pick up or drop off new towels.”

“Clean rooms, good breakfast and the air conditioning is super nice”

“Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.”

“Bed was hard. AC unit was noisy. Was of hair found in one of the three towels given. Pool and hot tub not functioning. Very disappointing.”

“We enjoy staying at this hotel for the annual Capital City Comic Con. This year, we had a room with a view of the river and watched a fireworks show, which was a bonus. We will definitely be returning to this location and highly recommend this hotel to other cosplayers.”

“No water. Was told the whole time they were fixing it. I get it things happen. 4 nights 5 days of no water to little water. The staff telling the whole hotel they can’t wash towels because they don’t have enough water. Cold to luck warm showers when there was water. Yes I would have moved hotels if everything wasn’t booked for a trap shooting nationals. Told I don’t get money back because I booked third party. Missing tv that was to be in our room. One of the reasons I booked...

“This particular Clarion was once an old and crumbling Ramada Inn; upgrades and repairs are being made but you can still it's a very old hotel and some of the concrete sidewalks are not 100% safe for seniors. It's clearly a work in progress. Having said that, our room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was about what you'd expect from a hotel. But all things considered, we would stay there again. The price was right.”

“The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfy. I wished there had been a microwave for our eating out leftovers. There was not much water pressure so showers were affected. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was pretty basic…I missed having waffles…and there was little daily variety. We were charged $10 a day to park! I think that was outrageous!”

“Here are my quick thoughts. Staff was great My room door sticks to the floor so it was difficult to open (440) Not enough towels...I needed to grab towels everyday Room Service kept room neat Many homeless in the area by the door. It made it a little uncomfortable I dont agree with $15 a day for parking I didnt like the freight trains running all day and night”
