“I normally stay at Barkley Lake State Resort but decided to make the extra drive to check out the Pennyrile Golf Course. So glad we did. The lodge was just as beautiful as well as the grounds and the area in general. Will definitely return with couples for more golfing next year. The place was practically empty, not sure why because we had a wonderful stay. You'd think it would be hard to secure a room. I have NEVER seen any marketing or advertising for Pennyrile other than flyers at the park...

“It was great. I was worried about the jetted tub being super clean but it didnt appear dirty but you always wonder. Everything else was very clean. Only issue when we were trying to check out no one was to be found and we had to wait a while, and if you're out late, good luck getting parking on a busy night. But otherwise it was great. The bed was very comfortable. For the price can't beat it. Looks rough outside but in the rooms very nice. 3 food places just across the road, too. ”
