“The beach has become so dirty and smelly since I was there years ago. There aren't a lot of food options, and the restaurant is outrageous for what you get. I had to constantly fix the toilet innards to make it flush. Getting a key and checking in/out was painstakingly slow.”

“Even though we really needed to cancel for Dr's visits, we got everything rescheduled and went on our trip. We really enjoyed it. People just need to understand their cancellation policy. Other than that, it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, and the people were really kind. Everything was spotless. We will definitely go back.”

“Clever and lovely cabin. The cabins are set just off a parking lot, but mine (The Schoolhouse) was really nice, seeming pretty new, good amenities like the big square showerhead. I liked the firm bed. I liked the Kuerig; just wanted decaf pods. Unusual place but worth it.”

“When we arrived all the electrical power was off. Storms had downed power lines in the area. It could have been a disaster for us. The staff went above and beyond their normal duties to get us in our room. The power was to be on in a few hours. Went went site seeing of the area. When we came back the power was on. Thank goodness. We love the resort. I believe it opened in 1952 but it look like it opened in 2015. It was fully renovated and super clean. Food for breakfast was very good and...
