“If you want incredible scuba diving with the on site dive shop run by Turquoise Divers you can do boat and shore dives on spectacular walls and reefs.
Although a bit remote on a quiet part of the island, it is very secure and they offer all sorts of excursions by boat and bus.
There is a calm cove for swimming and snorkeling, nice pools and very family friendly.
Food is fine and the drinks are cold. Entertainment nightly, although it can be cheezy but fun!
They do offer very reasonable airport...

“No point to stay here. Lots of seaweeds, it's impossible to swim and snorkeling isn't great either. On top of that the food options are limited and disgusting and the owner is as nice as a kick in the arse. Do yourself a favor: spend a bit more and get a room in West Bay.”

“The place itself is fairly nice. Fairly inconvenient having to check-in elsewhere and get to and from the front desk, but not a big deal. My issue is the property has tons of cameras and I do believe my wallet was taken from the desk in my room while I was sleeping. My fault for incorrectly locking the door when I got in to the room for the night. “I have stayed here many times and continue to go back that is all that really needs to be said. What I really like - across a low traffic road from the beach. it is far enough away from the action to be quite but close enough for quick walk. has a restaurant on site (never ate there) I always do breakfast at Yahongreh a must. Has parking area, next door grocery store, staff always pleasant. its a great place to stay. ”

“Unfortunately we did not have water for 2 days, and while it may or may not be a maintenance issue, it simply made our stay very uncomfortable as we couldn’t shower, use the washroom, etc. The staff are very courteous and friendly but they operate based on the hotel’s
rules/budget so there’s not much more they can do. The floor in the room was filthy and I don’t think it was cleaned/moped once during our stay (showed on our feet after walking barefoot, after coming from beach with clean feet)....
