“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any...

“I did not got the door code/door key, for four nights I was taking all my stuff out and bring it back when I need to use room for night. When booking the room was different to the room I got, which was not great for me, not happy with the service that I got, lots of issue, basically it's a HMO building.”

I was promised and refund and have been chasing this for the last month and the property is completely UNCONTACTABLE! Hotels.com have not refunded me nor will they unless the property replies! Hotels.com has now given up and I have lost over £400! DO NOT BOOK HERE!”

“Elaine over provided a wonderful breakfast and was helpful with giving us info on the area. When a canal ride was oversold she personally drove there to attain tickets. Property was beautiful and presents pastoral England as we pictured it. I highly recommend this property”

“Not easy to find,since no street-number supplied until asked for. Expected en-suite - bathroom shared (between 2 rooms) and quite a distance from the bedroom. Access arrangements (and supervision) sketchy - via key-safe on telephoning (never-seen) owner. However, the bed was very comfortable and the location quiet.”

“This is a lovely place to stay, and we would definitely return. However, I did find the bed in the room we were in to be a little firm for my liking, but that is personal taste The breakfast, from the fresh fruits to the fantastic poached eggs and bacon etc was amazing. The owner really works hard and deserves all the praise offered.”
