“There is no guest house, it's a scam, fraud, fake. I want my money back! They accept booking, you get confirmation and you don't get room, they don't answer your call. Need to report it to every possible site!”

“Great location for accessing town, cathedral and walking along river itchen. Pub food and drinks were delicious! Be aware the stairs to the rooms are quite narrow and steep to climb and rooms can get quite warm if the weather is cooperating and sun is out.”

“Excellent, the little arrival chocolates are Devine & a lovely touch. As is the welcome postcard. It’s these little things that make it a home from home, lovely beds, great food - nespresso machine & illy coffee. Pure class, highly recommend. I never give 5 stars, but here we are. Staff were superb on arrival, helped settle me in & made to feel welcome.”

“Nice stay for one night at this hotel partly due to an early hospital appointment and partly to take advantage of the aircon during a heatwave! Rooms are compact but adequate with controllable aircon, comfortable beds and a good sized TV. As has been mentioned on other reviews bathrooms have a clear glass door which was fine as privacy is maintained due to the layout of the bathroom. Location is good for the airport and hospital. Parking is chargeable (£10/24 hours midweek) but is made...

“A great place to stay. Good restaurant. Since there was a wedding party there at the same time, it was quicker to walk down the street to the pub instead of using the bar as there was only one barman serving lots of people.”

“Terrible hotel. Would avoid! Rang me on the day of check-in to say that the hotel was overbooked. I was then told that, as compensation for THEIR error, they would put me in a 'sister' hotel, which in fact looked like a 1970s pub and was not at all a like-for-like swap. Very unhelpful staff; offered absolutely no assistance in resolving any discrepancies, and had to escalate to Expedia to get anywhere.”
